NY Giant Geoff Schwartz Sponsors Dog Adoptions

Geoff Schwartz, offensive lineman for the New York Giants and big time pet lover, recently helped several dogs at AC&C get a new start this new year by sponsoring their adoption fees.

Before the big game was even played this winter, AC&C already had its MVP.

"A giant thank you to Geoff Schwartz for being one of New York’s Kindest,” said AC&C Executive Director Risa Weinstock. “We hope his support will help not only the sponsored dogs, but countless other shelter animals, find loving homes as 2015 kicks off."

"I grew up with some great dogs," said Geoff Schwartz. "Today, Oslo @OsloPepperoni is my best buddy. I’m happy to be able to bring the same joy I’ve experienced to other families."

Sponsored dogs were Swagger Wagger (fka Princess), Rocko, Romeo (fka Major), Analee, Maleaka and Albuca.

 
Swagger Wagger--who'd come to AC&C as an owner-surrender at the end of January--and Rocko--who'd been at AC&C since September--with their new families in February!

Romeo--who'd arrived at AC&C as a stray from Queens in January-- and Analee--a stray puppy from the Bronx--with their adopters!

Maleaka--who came to AC&C as a stray from Brooklyn in December--and Albuca, also a stray found in Brooklyn--were both adopted in February.
