Happy Tail: Babe Ruth Scores a Home Run With Great New Family!

Thanks to Becca and Britton, adopters of Babe Ruth, for sending along this great update! Babe Ruth, formerly known as Daisy, arrived at AC&C in April nursing a litter of several kittens. The entire family was placed in an AC&C foster home, where they were able to get ready for adoption. We're happy to report that this all-star's kittens have also found forever homes. As you can see, Babe Ruth is doing great:

She has adjusted amazingly well to her new home!

She was not shy at all. When we got her home from the Animal Care facility she hopped right out of the box, bright-eyed, and let the exploring begin! Since the very first night has made herself at home and sleeps in our bed. Lucky us!

Catching some rays of sunlight in her kitty corner, one of her favorite spots.

The Little Bambino loves her rest. When awake she's very active, but always well-behaved. She hasn't even destroyed anything yet! One of her signature moves is sprinting down the hallway on a whim with impressive speed.

Always grooming!

Babe Ruth loves hanging out in all the windows, watching the neighborhood from above.

We took advantage of the free vet visit you guys offered and found a great vet near our apt that participated in the program. She had a bit of an upper respiratory infection, as expected, but after a week of her meds she was cleared by the vet upon follow up. She is now healthy and full of energy. Little Ruthy was a great sport during both of her vet visits!

Resting after a good play session!

We have found her to be very toy responsive and love to play throughout the day (when she's not sleeping!), especially in the mornings and before bed. Here she is with her favorite flying toy.

Babe Ruth on lap

Babe Ruth is spending a lot more time in our laps. Here she is enjoying a head-rub from Brinton.

We just wanted to send along an update and thank you for keeping our little Bambino safe until we discovered her! Extra-special thanks to Carolyn and Nicole who were so helpful on our adoption day. Our lives been happier every day since! We were so impressed w/ the whole experience and have a great appreciation for all that you do for the community and the animals within.

Thanks and love,

Becca and Brinton
