New York's Kindest Are Back!

Marge & Elton, New York's KindestLook out again for AC&C's ads celebrating New York's Kindest--our adopters, volunteers, and donors--on telephone kiosks, subway platforms, TV, and online! You may also catch the NYK commercial in one of several movie theatres across the city, or hear an NYK public service announcement on the radio. The campaign, which originally launched last year, encourages New Yorkers to help animals at AC&C by adoptingvolunteering, and donating, and features AC&C adopters, volunteers, and donors with the cats and dogs they love.

Suzanne and Lee New York's Kindest kioskThe campaign is a collaboration between AC&C and New Leash Productions, a collective of marketing and design professionals (several of whom are also AC&C adopters) who donated their services for the project. Generator Media + Analytics, a NYC-based agency enabling AC&C and others to maximize their media ad budgets so they can achieve more, played an indispensable (and pro bono) role in this second round of the campaign. AC&C has limited resources for advertising, but thanks to the generosity and talents of those at New Leash and Generator, we're able to greatly enhance our exposure. We're grateful, too, to the many companies who have donated media placements: Time Warner Cable, Google, Clear Channel, CBS Radio, Emmis Communications, Cumulus Media, Van Wagner, ScreenVision, National CineMedia, C2C Outdoor, TMPG, and 1010 WINS.

The new round of ads includes some familiar faces featured on subways and kiosks last year, but also several additional subjects. New to the subway (postings set to begin in April) are volunteer Mark with Squiggy; adopters Ami and Kevin with Lola, and adopters/donors Jennie and Jordan with Jasmine. Appearing on telephone kiosks for the first time this year are volunteer Margery with Elton, adopters Suzanne and Lee with Stanley and George, and volunteer Donna--the campaign's photographer--with Sparky.

Vineshia New York's Kindest screenshotSome of New York's Kindest are also featured in banner ads online. When on the web you may see Donna and Sparky, as well as volunteer Tanya with Elsie, adopter Al with Soldier, and adopter Vineshia with Cowboy. Meanwhile, TV ads are airing on NY1, CNN, Discovery Channel and other Time Warner cable networks, and PSAs are running on a number of radio stations, including 1010 WINS and WFAN. Check out our website to hear a PSA and view the ads.

The New York's Kindest campaign underscores the reality that the public's involvement is key to AC&C's success in placing dogs, cats, and rabbits in loving homes. The more support AC&C receives from the NYC community, the more lives can be saved. Become one of New York's Kindest: Adopt, Volunteer, Donate!
