Adoption Spotlight: Jay
This approximately three-year-old cutie arrived at ACC as a stray, timid and nervous. But our Behavior team notes that Jay has done well during off-leash social time with other dogs and has warmed up considerably to his human caretakers. He is affectionate and social with humans and dogs alike. "Jay has come a long way... from a very shy young boy, he has evolved into a gentle, polite, well-mannered, playful, sociable and still very loving young man," says a volunteer. "He loves to come on the lap and get hugged and kissed. He has plenty to give in return." If you're interesting in adopting Jay, meet him at our Manhattan Care Center at 326 E. 110th Street (open 12pm-8pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-6pm Saturday and Sunday), or email adoption@nycacc.org with his A#: A1033946.
