Adoption Spotlight: Daenerys

"Named for a beloved character from Game of Thrones," an AC&C volunteer notes, "Daenerys is a sweet little munchkin with a big rep to live up to! Just like her namesake she's strikingly beautiful and known for her compassionate nature but where the fictional Daenerys is a fierce warrior, our fair dumpling is all softness and snuggles and the only thing she's looking to conquer is your heart!

Alternating between an adorable pout and a cheeky grin, Daenerys simply radiates joy. She's such a gorgeous girl that when I first spotted her out with a staff member I simply had to stop and introduce myself and this affectionate pup literally welcomed me with open arms. She's a good walker and calm when passing other dogs and she just can't give enough hugs and kisses to her human friends - you haven't been snuggled until you've been snuggled by Daenerys! She sits politely for treats and of course, takes them ever so gently from my fingers and... when she hears an interesting noise Daenerys performs a classic and irresistible puppy head-tilt.

Did I hear you say that you don't believe in love at first sight? Well there's a certain little lady at our Manhattan Care Center who's ready and waiting to prove you wrong so come on in and see for yourself. Daenerys is a very special girl, meet her once and I guarantee you'll never want to let her go!"
