Meet Fredrick! Fredrick sparked a quite few smiles during his short stay at Manhattan ACC, and here’s why: Fredrick was known for his charming persona and easygoingness. However, Fredrick was reluctant to walk back into the building or past the row of dogs in his room. Treats initially worked, but not consistently while he was in a nervous state. What would be the best way to quickly get Fredrick back to his kennel with ease? A fear-free Chariot! Fredrick was easily lured onto the Fear Free cart and was able to be wheeled through the room without further stress.
The added benefit of this cart is that it is sleek, sturdy, and moves silently. The perfect way to move cats, other animals in carriers, (and now Fredrick) through the building with less stress.
Fredrick has been placed with a New Hope partner and has left the building!
ACC is dedicated to creating a Fear-Free environment that will reduce the Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) associated with animal sheltering. |
