What a week! Last Wednesday a little lamb, now named Palmer, made headlines after being picked up by cops on the Gowanus Expressway. Palmer was brought to Staten Island ACC and transferred to Skylands Animal Sanctuary shortly after.
On Saturday, a goat was found roaming the streets of the Bronx, so the NYPD picked him up and brought him to Manhattan ACC. After a quick medical examination, he was transferred to Skylands Animal Sanctuary as well!
Then, on Tuesday, an adorable calf named Major Deegan was causing a bit of traffic on the expressway, so the NYPD took him to the only organization who takes them all, ACC! After a short romp in the hay, he was also off to Skylands Animal Sanctuary.
But that's not all! Also on Tuesday, another goat was found by construction workers and brought to Manhattan ACC, where she stayed until Farm Sanctuary picked her up.
