 Help Us Care for Hugh
ACC is currently drawing on our STAR Fund (Special Treatment and Recovery) to care for Hugh Jackman, a kitten who suffered burns over 40 percent of his body, including all four legs, his ears and his nose. No one quite knows if these painful injuries came from abuse or a terrible accident. Hugh has been getting round-the-clock veterinary care at BluePearl Veterinary Partners for the past two weeks. We're asking the public to pass along any information about how Hugh might have suffered these injuries, and also to make donations so he can continue getting the best possible care. Read more »

 Recognition for ACC's Community Pets Program
On March 28 ACC was honored with the Bronze Medal from the Henry Schein, Inc. Cares Foundation, in recognition of our Community Pets Program and efforts in expanding access to healthcare for the underserved. The medal comes with $10,000 in supplies and a $5,000 donation. See video » |

Adoption Spotlight: Harmony, aka Homer
When our Field Team rescued Harmony back in January, he wasn't in great shape. But we patched him up and a loving foster home opened their doors to him. And now he's ready for adoption! Harmony, aka Homer, is "a very snuggly boy who loves nothing more than to lay on you and get all the pets," his fosters say. Provide excellent and enthusiastic customer service to potential customers through adoption counseling, answering questions, and assisting with animal interactions and paperwork.
