ACC has begun another massive rescue effort, this time in a Brooklyn apartment where we estimate 80+ dogs were discovered after their owner was found deceased. Many were severely matted, appeared sick, and terrified. In the face of this crisis, the rescue community rose up - fellow shelters, fosters, transporters, groomers, and donors have come together with extraordinary compassion and commitment. We still need help, but in this moment we are celebrating the power of coming together.

Right now, ACC needs:
Adopters willing to open their hearts and homes to our existing population of adoptable dogs.

If you can help:
Visit nycacc.app to see all adoptable dogs.

A 90-minute orientation is all it takes to change a homeless pet’s life. Anyone 18+ can foster, and all supplies are provided!
