ACC IS OUT OF SPACE! While billionaires are launching themselves into outer space for fun, we’ve got dogs who just need a couch.
That’s right—Animal Care Centers of NYC is officially out of space here on Earth. Our kennels are packed, our fosters are full - but until we figure out doggie space helmets, we need your help.
These dogs don’t want to orbit the Earth—they just want to orbit you.
In celebration of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, B&H Photo visited the Queens ACC to photograph some of our adorable boroughbreds! Photographers Gabe and Sam offered their expert tips for snapping the perfect pet portrait—from grabbing your pet's attention and striking the right pose to selecting ideal lighting and bringing the best treats. We’re so grateful to the B&H team for generously donating their time and talent!
We’re sending a huge thank you to our incredible partners at ASPCA for celebrating National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day by shining a spotlight on some of ACC’s very own Boroughbreds! Pretty, Miss Missy, Handsome Bobandsome, Dior, and Aldo got their moment to shine. We're so grateful for ASPCA's continued support!
There is too much adorableness for us to handle at the shelter!
It is kitten season, and we are in need of NYC kitten fosters. It’s completely free, anyone over 18 can foster, and all basic supplies and medical care is provided. Sign up for our upcoming virtual kitten orientation on May 4th!
